Norman Y. Mineta

Secretary Norman Y. Mineta’s career in public service has been both distinguished and unique. He served in Congress for over twenty years and was appointed to the Cabinet of both Democratic and Republican presidents.

For almost thirty years, Mineta represented San Jose, California – the heart of Silicon Valley – first on the City Council, then as Mayor, and then from 1975 to 1995 as a Member of Congress. Throughout that time, Mineta was an advocate of the burgeoning technology industry. He worked to encourage new industries and spur job growth, and he supported the development of the infrastructure to accommodate the industry and its tremendous growth. View Full Bio

Ann Bybee is Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for Toyota Financial Services (TFS). Bybee oversees the development of mid to long-term strategy for the company, including strategic research, competitive intelligence, business planning – corporate scorecards, public relations, government affairs, internal communications and corporate social responsibility. She reports to Dave Pelliccioni, Senior Vice President, and Chief Administrative Officer.

Bybee leads the company’s drive towards becoming a more deliberate and focused organization. She has implemented the development of a rolling fiveyear plan for each line of business to better inform the five-year financial plan. Jason Chan

Jason Chan is a Director of External Affairs for AT&T, where he leads AT&T’s national Asian American and Pacific American Islander (AAPI) engagement.

Jason works to launch grassroots, high-impact campaigns that promote AT&T’s point of view in regard to federal and state legislation and regulation. He partners with the California and Federal External Affairs and Policy teams to develop strategies for third party campaigns and ensure strong cohesive messaging to communicate policy initiatives.

He is also works to ensure AT&T is an admirable corporate citizen, by strengthening the relationship with the AAPI community. With over a decade of experience in AAPI advocacy, Jason has been instrumental in developing the company’s investment in the community. View Full Bio

In his role as Group Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of TMCC, Ron Chu oversees all corporate accounting, financial reporting and corporate taxation for Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (aka Toyota Financial Services) and its affiliated entities. As principal accounting officer Chu is responsible for the Company’s quarterly and annual Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, in accordance with TMCC’s status as a public registrant for its debt issuance in the US market. Chu joined TMCC in March 2002 as national manager of tax. Angie Cooper is Senior Director of Global Public Policy for Walmart. Angie manages Walmart’s policy team who is responsible for legislative and regulatory strategy, political development, and reputation management for the company.

Angie joined Walmart in August, 2003 and has worked with various departments within the company including Merchandising, Public Affairs and Government Relations and the Walmart Foundation. Angie returned to Northwest Arkansas after working in California where she directed Walmart’s regulatory efforts and growth opportunities in Northern California as well as overseeing government relations efforts in Alaska and Hawaii.
