Larissa Lam is an award-winning recording artist who was named Best Vocalist by Singer Universe magazine for her “powerful, vibrant vocal performance.” Her song “I Feel Alive” won the 2015 Hollywood Music in Media award for Best Dance Song. She has performed across the US and Asia at venues like Lincoln Center, The Grammy Museum and the Dolby Theatre. She has previously sung the national anthem for the Lakers, the Clippers among others. A native of Diamond Bar, CA, Lam earned a degree in Business Economics from UCLA and began her career as the Chief Financial Officer of NSOUL Records, which led to a stint singing with the music group, Nitro Praise before embarking on a solo career. She has released four solo albums, including her most recent, Love and Discovery. As a songwriter and music composer, Lam has written music for major TV, film & video games such The Oprah Winfrey Show, Days of Our Lives, E! and Dance Dance Revolution. She is not only a powerful performer but she uses her music to empower and inspire people to make a positive impact in the world. Her song “I Feel Alive” was the theme song for a national suicide prevention campaign promoted by mental health groups like JED Foundation and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She also frequently teams up with her husband, rapper Only Won, and they are currently on a national concert and film tour with The Finding Cleveland Experience. The tour spotlights their award-winning documentary film, Finding Cleveland, about their family’s discovery of the early Chinese immigrants in Mississippi during segregation and the Chinese Exclusion Act.
