About APAICS:

Founded by former Secretary Norman Y. Mineta in 1994, APAICS is a national nonpartisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) participation and representation at all levels of the political process, from community service to elected office. APAICS programs focus on leadership development and filling the political pipeline for AAPIs to pursue public office at the local, state and federal levels, as well as other careers in public policy.
