Miru Osuga

Summer 2017 Congressional Intern

Congressional Office

Senator Tammy Duckworth

Miru Osuga is a rising senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying communications. With greater visibility of certain AAPI woman politicians, Miru was inspired to explore public service through a political lens. APAICS appealed to her because she understood the power of a tight network of change agents committed to bringing new perspectives to this arena. Miru hopes to foster a loving community within this DC space and build on her understanding of what it means to be a public servant. She loves visual design work, Yuri Kochiyama, and oranges.

Meet the rest of the summer 2017 interns!
