Rachel Lee

Summer 2017 Congressional Intern

Congressional Office

Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi

Rachel is a rising senior at Rice University, majoring in History and Political Science with a minor in Sociology. She decided to be an APAICS summer intern because she recognizes the importance of increasing Asian American and female representation in government and wants to lead by example. She also wanted to meet other people who were passionate about empowering Asian American communities and knew that APAICS would provide her with that opportunity. Rachel is extremely interested in public policy and is excited to gain hands-on experience by working in Congress, where she can witness policy-making in action. She is also looking forward to exploring Washington D.C. and visiting as many museums as possible!

Meet the rest of the summer 2017 interns!
