Many rare kidney diseases disproportionately affect AA & NH/PI communities yet remain an overlooked driver of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). But there is hope, as several factors have led to what STAT called “a golden era” in rare kidney disease research, which is starting to yield new treatments and approaches to care.
