Paul M. Igasaki was Chair and Chief Judge of the DOL’s Administrative Review Board. Prior to the appointment, Igasaki was the deputy chief executive officer for Equal Justice Works, a non-profit organization that promotes public interest legal work. From 1994 to 2002, he acted as vice chair, chair and commissioner of the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission, appointed by President Bill Clinton.
Igasaki also served as the executive director of the Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco and as the Washington, D.C. representative for the Japanese American Citizens League.
A graduate of Northwestern University and the University of California, Davis School of Law, he resides in Alexandria, Vir., with his wife and daughter. Igasaki’s wife, Louann Igasaki, is the first Asian American to serve as administrative appeals judge for the Social Security Administration.
