202-296-9200
Annie earned her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. As a first-generation American fluent in Vietnamese, she brings a unique perspective to her work. Before joining APAICS, Annie served as a Special Assistant in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she was a political appointee under the Biden-Harris Administration. In this capacity, she supported the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations. Annie also worked as Policy Manager at FutureOf, focusing on energy, sustainability, and transportation initiatives. Prior to relocating to Washington, D.C., she gained experience as a legislative aide and advisor in the Michigan House of Representatives. While her professional background is rooted in climate and energy policy, Annie's true passion lies in advocating for the AANHPI community.
Raised in Connecticut, Annie was deeply involved in her Vietnamese heritage, with her family owning two Pho restaurants and being active in the Vietnamese-Catholic community. This upbringing sparked her passion for community service and shaped her career in policy and politics, which is why she is excited to join APAICS.
During her free time, Annie enjoys spending time with her Bernese Mountain Dog, cooking, traveling, and volunteering for the Progressive Vietnamese American Organization.
