Prior to joining APAICS, Tania was the Executive Director and Co-founder of Solar Sister Kenya (previously LivelyHoods), a nonprofit social enterprise. Solar Sister Kenya distributes clean-energy products in slum communities through a nation-wide sales network of unemployed youth and women.
Tania also has experience recruiting and managing phone banking volunteers for Swing Left and the DNC, as well as assisting Mayor Brian de Peña in Lawrence, Massachusetts during his administration's incoming transition.
In 2022, she earned a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Tania earned her BS from Stanford University in 2008, where she graduated with a degree in Science, Technology and Society with a focus on Management Science & Engineering.
