Overview

The APAICS Technology Summit brings together community and corporate leaders, subject matter experts, as well as Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA & NH/PI) elected officials for bipartisan policy discussions that affect the AA & NH/PI community and the nation at-large.
 

Panel topics will range from how technology is transforming the way Americans work, building the future of data centers and sustainable artificial intelligence (AI), financial freedom and wealth equity, the digital fan experience, next-gen connectivity, intellectual property compliance in the age of e-commerce, as well as supporting teen mental health in the digital age.

Panelists will discuss responsible infrastructure development, clean energy solutions, and policies that balance economic growth with environmental stewardship.

The Digital Fan Experience: Technology, Community Engagement, and Inclusivity in Sports

Technology is transforming how fans experience sports. This panel explores how streaming, AI, data analytics, and immersive digital platforms are creating more engaging and inclusive fan experiences. Speakers will discuss how sports organizations can leverage innovation to strengthen community engagement, expand access, and elevate AA & NH/PI representation throughout the sports ecosystem.

Building Financial Freedom and Wealth Equity

Financial freedom starts with making informed decisions. From tax planning, to paying down debt, to homeownership, families continue to face barriers to credit and financing. On this panel, speakers will discuss how technology can expand equitable access to financial health, including home ownership, while ensuring fairness and transparency in automated decision-making. This panel will also examine how AI, digital lending tools, and other emerging technologies, alongside traditional face-to-face guidance, are reshaping financial decisions, expanding access to capital, strengthening long-term savings and financial security, and supporting the building of generational wealth.

Next-Gen Connectivity: Spectrum, Broadband, and the 5G/6G Frontier

Wireless connectivity powers everything from smart cities, connected stadiums, and autonomous technologies, to education, healthcare, business, and civic participation. As the need for fast, reliable connectivity grows, wireless demand has surged. Speakers will discuss infrastructure investment, affordability, and strategies to ensure all communities benefit from next-generation connectivity, particularly across rural, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities.
